2 recoveries from Tropical Storm Andrea, but many rescues. Most just got
blown around or blown down, ended up really drenched and aren't quite ready
to fly strong and independently. They will all be going to the Audubon
Center for Birds of Prey to be in the 55 foot flight cage. Being capable of
flight and being a strong independent flyer are very different things!

Banding on the osprey cam next Monday at 10am. Www.dunedinospreycam.org

No news from Honeymoon Island eagle necropsies yet.

We finally have a good system for the pre-fledge ospreys and they are being
banded prior to release.

Thanks Barb for the updates, sounds good for all the casualties of the storm. Glad they are getting bands at least there might be news later down the road about them.
