Dear Friends of OSMM,
Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and
almsgiving.
This Lent we
ask that you remember OSMM in prayer, a
great way to support our work. When we pray, Jesus listens
"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the
Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I
will do it" (John 14:13-14). We ask that you pray for
this ministry to be able to continue in God's Will, doing His work here and
now.
Fasting with a broken,
repentant, and contrite spirit, enabled by the Holy Spirit, can release
awesome power and is a wonderful way to heal our lives, churches and
nation. Please consider fasting during this Lenten
Season for the intentions of Our Sorrowful Mother's
Ministry.
Almsgiving is defined as any material favor done to assist the
needy and prompted by charity, a sign of our care for those in need and an expression
of our gratitude for all that God has given to us. Works of charity are
an integral element of the Christian way of life. A donation
to OSMM is an easy way to participate in almsgiving. Keep in mind
that your tax deductable donation now is a valid 2009
deduction up until April 15, 2010.
As always, we
appreciate all prayers and monetary gifts offered for this not-for-profit
ministry. Please come experience a powerful retreat and feel God's
presence in your life. We look forward to seeing you
soon!
