Hi Simon,
Thanks - I hadn't fully appreciated that the + would snap to the way - either to an existing node or a new one.
Related question: to move a node, that doesn't work. I.e. you long press (+ appears, but you can't move the nearby node yet), you tap again (node is selected), tags window pops up, you close it: then you can move the node. Is there a simpler way?

That's helpful - thanks. When I tap, the node name pops up. When I then tap the pop-up, the large selector appears, and I can drag.
And I right that with the large selector on, I cannot add nodes? I.e. I still need to long press to get + and then add further nodes?
If that's the case, then it might be good to always have the + symbol in the Manu bar to append to ways?
I think some images and documentation (e.g. as worked examples "how do I ....?") would be very helpful to get people started with editing.
Many thanks,
Bjoern
Hi Bjorn,
A small suggestion to improve 4.5
Before "The resulting way will be connected automatically:" Add
"If your next tap is outside the tolerance area of the new node being created then"
Roger
Hi Roger, hi Simon,
thanks for the suggestions!
Roger: I've added that sentence.
Simon: The tutorials don't appear in the app - do you think there would be interest in adding clarifications / images within documentation/docs/help/en ? My view would be to possibly add a new help page on "selecting objects" (or add some images to the main introduction where selection is discussed), as well as to add some images to "Creating New objects".
