Hi,
Vespucci seems to suffer a bug known from all older editors:
[https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/8591 consecutive identical nodes in
ways].
We recently have fixed it in JOSM, but this issue appears also to affect
you (see details below, and http://toolserver.org/~mapjedi/blame.txt for
affected ways).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create some new ways (unknown method)
2. Upload them

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ways should only have distinct consecutive nodes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Vespucci 0.8.3r419. Unknown Android version.

Please provide any additional information below.

This issue was already fixed in v0.9; cf. #152 and also the head of the
file you are quoting from.
