Hi!
I would like to create a Brouter profile for OsmAnd to follow the hungarian National Blue Trail.

Poutnikl did a great job with his Brouter profiles, so I think the

will be good for me after some modification.
The name can be Hiking-SAC2-VVSHRP (very very strong hiking route preference :)

I need to distinguish the National Blue Trail from the other trails.
I think I have to modify this part of the .bfr file, but I am not sure about it.

assign any_hiking_route or route=hiking             or route_hiking_iwn=yes
                        or route_hiking_nwn=yes     or route_hiking_rwn=yes
                        or route_hiking_lwn=yes     or route_hiking_=yes
                        or route_foot_=yes          or route_foot_nwn=yes
                        or route_foot_rwn=yes       route_foot_lwn=yes

If understand well, Brouter identifies the hiking routes with the network=nwn/lwn/rwn tag on the relation.
The Blue Trail relation has these unique OSM tags:
name=Országos Kéktúra
ref=OKT

Can somebody help me adding these tags to the assign block?

Thank you in advance,
Andreas

Hi,
poutnikl here, thanks for compliments, :-),

But I have ( for now??) bad news. There are 2 related major problems,
causing your idea not being currently possible at profile level:

1/ Profiles are only able to distinguish route classes (i/n/r/let). The
route names nor numbers are not available. So the only option is to
penalize routes of other than desired class.

Fortunately, national or international route network is not so dense to
create route confusion.

2/ Brouter routing files .rd5 do not contain relation tags, i.e. neither
route names.

The Brouter route tags of OSM ways is an exception, being a Brouter "dirty
trick". It translates these relation tags during rd5 file creation as
pseudo-way tags. They are evaluated by profiles as ordinary way tags, but
do not exist in original OSM data.

A workaround could be to create a GPX route, one for each direction, on the
Brouter web client.

You can use there the interactive drag&dropping of the route to force it to
stick to the National Blue Trail, in case the precalculation would deviate.

You would then follow the GPX file, visually or with OSMand guidance.

Hi,

Thank you for the clarification.

Unfortunately there is another trail called Mária út (Maria trail) which crosses the Blue Trail on many points :(
It has iwn and nwn tags also, so it messes up the routing.

There is a dedicated page for creating Blue Trail gpx routes

It was just idea, if I could use the power of Brouter.

Thank you again

Another option would be to place Brouter nogo points on those sections of
the Maria route to deny routing deviations along the alternative route.

They can be prepared as GPX waypoints file and ready to import them to
multiple devices.
