Hi there
First, I have seen the "Turn by Turn navigation of imported gpa" discussion, and even if I do the same, I have different questions.

How does my process looks like:
1) I create a route based on waypoints in Basecamp on my iMac.
2) The route always start and end at my home, where I live but not where my motorbike is.
3) After route is completed, I export the route, send it towards my Android Device and import in Osmand+.
So far so good

So where's my issues with Osmand+:
When I start the route in Osmand+, it always requests me to navigate to my home point, regardless if this is necessary or not.
I know I am able to navigate instead to the nearest point, which is of course my home, but not the first waypoint.
So how do I tell Osmand when starting the route, he should skip the first starting POI (my home)?

Second question occurs while driving and following the route. A construction site suddenly appears and road is blocked. How do I easily tell Osmand+ that this road is blocked and Osmand+ has to find another route ?
I know that there is this option with 120m automatic calculation. I had this option on and Osmand find me a new route till the next circle, where I should take exit 4 and drive exactly back to this closed road. I ignored it during the next 5 kilometers where it still wanted me to return to this closed road. Then I stopped my bike and the tour on Osmand+ and made the rest of the tour based on manually enter the following POI, drive there, enter next POI etc.

I'm quite sure, that there is a simple solution inside Osmand+ for both of my questions and the error is in front of. Unfortunately I did not find any answer to these questions, neither in the manual nor in the many available YT videos.

Thanks for advice in advance
Wolfgang

I think you want to turn on Smart route recalculation or maybe off. You will need to test. You will find it under Navigation - Settings - Navigation Settings - Route Parameters.

As for road blockage just follow the detour is what I do. Or you could press and hold your finger on the road and then select Actions and finally Avoid road. I have never done this so again test.

At any moment, you have a choice, that leads you closer to God or further from God.

I should add restored routes always start from your current location, at least that has been my experience.

Hi
Thanks for Answer.
I just checked and I do not have the Smart Route recalculation option.
Do you mean "minimal distance to recalculate route" ? This is set to 120m
Or do you mean "In case of reverse direction" ? This is Enabled.

Hi
About "I should add restored routes always start from your current location, at least that has been my experience.".
To be honest that's what I want but how to do this in Osmand+ ?

It start where my bike is and then wants to route me to the first point in the route, which is my home. Then I have to drive around the block to continue the trip to the next POI. And while driving around the block I may came to the point from where I parked my bike last time. ...

It is part of Development settings. Read in the docs how to enable.

Hi Ra

The thing with god is part of SonWon's Signature.

Which development setting is best depends on you. I have switch off the first two and just kept third option on. This has now to be tested on further tours. Maybe I have to switch it off and test it again. Unfortunately it is not described the default when development settings are disabled ....

About the smartest route, let me ask: Do you think that your definition of a smartest route is the same of all others ? So what is the smartest route definition at all ?

I have all three on, not sure if this is best however it is working. As smart as us, absolutely not?  ;)

For the first option, the description says you should use it only for testing. That's why I switched it off.
For the second it says, the calculation takes longer.

That's why I will try with the last option on only.

Ah, thank you for that tip. I need to try with them off!
