Greetings,

I have created a track using the free version of RideWithGPS. The track includes waypoints or stops.

I import the track into OSMAND + version 5.3.10

When I try create the same waypoints in OSMAND using "Points" feature OSMAND does not follow the exact track, instead it creates a new route that does not follow the track in some areas. See attached picture.

I am stumped! Thank you in advance!

Hi!
"When I try create the same waypoints in OSMAND using "Points""
Could you please provide more details regarding this step?

In "Follow track" mode (using a GPX track for navigation), OsmAnd doesn't allow you to add intermediate destinations; you can only set a start and a destination. It also allows you to select whether to start from the beginning of the track or from the nearest point. If you want to modify the GPX track, you need to tap "Edit" in the track menu or open "Plan a Route" and select your track.

I think you answered my question when you wrote:

I need to research how to edit a gpx track to add my stops as intermediate points. The stops were created in the original gpx track and I can see them when I select "points" within the track menu.

Thanks//Joe
