Hi,

I use MAPAPERIVE program with a set of rules (R25) wich from an OSM map, gives me a result very close to French IGN Topo maps 1/25000
This model of rules were created in order to print a quite good maps, but I would like now import the created files into Osmand in combination with GPX tacks.
"Mapaperitive" program produces two different files :
1- an image file  with a PNG format
2 - a very uncommon calibration file with the extension "georef"

Here is an example of the contain for such a file
<georef>
  <srs>
    <id>EPSG:3857</id>
  </srs>
  <origin>
    <x>83874.708325114014</x>
    <y>5255499.0643062228</y>
  </origin>
  <cell-width>2.8792884083600643</cell-width>
  <cell-height>-2.8792884083601846</cell-height>
</georef>

Do you know a converter or a trick in order to be able to use this marvellous map with Osmand?

I don't know Maperitive, but your best bet is probably to alter the style sheet (or commands you are running, not sure) to directly generate tiles:

Thanks Max for the idea. You are probably right because my first attempt to write an image file with its calibration and then convert them to Osmand seems a bit complicated.

I shall investigate possibilities proposed by Mapaperitive.

I found a proper solution but different from my first idea.
You must not try to calibrate (or use the calibration file already produced) the image given by Mapaperitive.
The trick is to "generate-tiles" with Mapaperitive and then use these tiles inside MOBAC. For that you have to declare a new mapsource for Mobac (this needs to create an xml file for this purpose). After that Mobac is able to use tiles produced by Mapaperitive and generate every Atlas you need, either for Osmand or different gps applications.

It is not very difficult, but I was first on a wrong track ...
