Has anybody experience in using osmand with a smartwatch?

Hi,

can you give me some information, what kind of interaction with the smartwatch is possible (eg seeing a section of the map on the watch or getting an alarm for the next turn) and can you give me a recommendation, which watch you use or which kind of operating system your watch has?

Yes, I do have some experience. I've used Osmand with a Polar V800 and Garmin Forerunner 735xt. Osmand will immediately connect to smartwatches through the notification function common to most of these devices. Once you start navigation, you will see a temporary display notification on the watch similar to the image below. The notifications occur regularly as you approach turns. This feature is quite useful.
