Hi, I moved recently and can't figure out how to change the home address for navigation. I expected to change it by long tap but that didn't work. Then I tried navigation settings and "My Places". No success either. After that I tried search results and map makers - no way to set a home address. So I have two requests:

1. Can anybody tell me the secret: what is the correct way to change the home address?

2. Maybe improve on that way in future versions and adding an option in an more intuitive place.

I'm using Osmand+ 3.5.5 on Android 9.

On my 3.5.5, I can change the home address by:

1) beginning with no navigation running

2) pressing the "start navigation" button (arrow in a diamond)

3) long pressing the "home" icon that appear beneath the "from" and
"to" entries for beginning a navigation

When I perform #3, a separate dialog "Add Home" appears that allows
multiple different ways of specifying a home address.

Ah, yeah - that worked for me to. Thank you.

I was long pressing on the "Home Address" button that appears when you select "select destination". Didn't know that there is another home address button when you expand the empty navigation. So I think it is still well hidden and not intuitive.

Glad to know that worked for you.

That, sadly, describes just about all smartphone apps. There are
numerous 'features' that are well hidden and not at all intuitive until
one accidentally stumbles on them.

However, if you want to be certian the developers are aware of the
issue, file it on the OsmAnd github tracker here:
