Hello,

I am navigating with a scooter in Germany. Unfortunately, scooters may not use "Kraftfahrstraßen" (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraftfahrstra%C3%9Fe)

They are labeled somewhat correctly at openstreetmap.org but I have no way to select / deselect them. (Where you can avoid Autobahn, Toll roads, etc)

It would be totally awesome if that could be added to the "avoid" list. Also, I'd like to clone my Profile like "car" to have different setting presets (i.e. car and scooter) that I can select

See this thread:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/osmand/avoid$20motorroad/osmand/W9cGkY9sOwU/croaDUeq8N8J

The gist of it is that you can do this on your own device by creating a custom routing.xml, adding an avoid motorroad setting is discussed in the linked thread (with some other discussion about getting the tag added to the OSMAnd maps).

Do note that if you are using your own routing.xml, it will override any updates that are made to the app.

Interesting workaround would be to install Brouter, and when installed, configure the OSMand to use Brouter as the 3rd party offline routing engine, e.g for bicycle profile.
Note the segment3 Brouter data to be present.
Brouter has profile approach, and moped os one of predefined profiles, and the author is even German, so familiar with DE scenarios.

Thanks a lot.

I have looked into brouter, however the description says: Routing for cars is is currently available only in an experimental state ("car-test") and is not recommend. For example, turn-restriction are not taken into account.

I'd rather have the right turn restrictions and reroute when I see a road that I may not use than relying on a route where I'd have to make an illegal left turn.
