Dashboard - Gone?

Has Dashboard been removed?

I no longer see it.

Does it matter?

How should I get it back?

Running Osmand+ 3.9.6 on Android 7.0

Same for me. I can't see it either anymore.

There was a general setting and it could be set per profile.

I guess it is a bug as it is still in a lot of help screens.

I just filed an issue for it: https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd/issues/10879

Dashboard works as expected, in nightly build OsmAnd~ (2) 4.0.0#31527m.apk 2021-02-14 00:58

I use often, did not see problem in last weeks.

Strange.

If I download the latest nightly build I still don't have a dashboard option.

According to the help texts and blogs, it should simply be there. It is not an option you switch on or off.

To manage main menu:

main menu / configure profile (use ANY profile) / UI customization / Drawer

If Dashboard is not visible it should be in the last list at bottom "Hidden".

Use the green circle to reactivate.

Yes, I just read Victor's reply on the issue. :)

Still: Why has it "suddenly" been deactivated/hidden?

But also: I used the dashboard relatively often as it is so handy. I did not even miss it until Paul mentioned it. Strange how the human brain works (at least mine ;) )
