Hi,
has anyone a solution idea to send the instructions of Osmand+ via Bluetooth to an external small display?
The infos Osmand shows on the lock screen of the Android phone would be enough.
I had the idea to save phone power that way when sceen is off and I don't like to drive bycicle with spoken instructions.
Building a small display is not the problem but getting the instructions out of Osmand+.

Thanks for your help!

Hello!
Smartwatches usually can show notifications from Android.

I have no direct answer but there's a feature, which might help. In the Navigation settings set on "Turn screen on". This will show the map briefly on a lock screen when approaching a next turn. The "Wake time" decides how soon before the turn the screen is lit up to give a heads up. The "Use proximity sensor" enables flashing a screen on waving a hand above the device (granted it has a proximity sensor) so you can have a peak at the nav by just waving your hand. I find it very useful.

It works only while in navigation. Start it then switch the screen off and it will come up automatically for a moment.
