can I see total ascending (total accumulated climbing) and remaining ascent (how much climbing left) during navigation?

I can't seem to be able to show the total uphill/climbing done during when following a route. I only see the absolute altitude but no total / current climbing/ascent nor remaining climbing/ascent. This is very useful to assess speed and time of arrival.

Directions (the blue arrow button) > Details shows the cumulative ascent and descent for a route, as well as the average altitude and altitude range, the altitude profile, distance, and a very approximate time estimate.  All these numbers are calculated from your current position.
