Re John Beñnet and nav problem.  I am also in Australia and have no problems with navigating and deviating. Cu4ently in India and find program 100 percent perfect for my needs.  GPS works Wel inside new railway carriages (for info).

OSM has become almost unusable....

John Bennett <horne...@gmail.com>: Jan 17 01:54AM -0800 Long time user, and recommender of OSMAND, but not any more.... Over the last 12 months or so, OSMAND has become unusable. Not sure if it has something to do with my location, but... If you try and navigate from:to, putting an address in, works fine, until: if you deviate AT ALL, it will go into search (forever circling, circle), occasionally if you get back on the original route, it will find itself, but again, if you deviate, will basically NEVER recalculate. Used to swear by OSMAND, and recommend it everywhere - not any more - useless... What am I doing wrong?? I am in Australia, I know that we aren't the preferred location - Specific addresses over here are not findable - and, yes, I have spent a bit of time personally trying to update it over the years... And yet, have just found Organic Maps (almost the same??), and it seems to work fine?? Thanks.

Hmmmm.

Are you finding you have the recalc. problems when in bike route mode?

If yes, then try a bike ride in 'care route' mode, and see if the
recalc works better.

If it does, then compare settings between car and bike, as one of the
differences might be the cause.
