Hello.

I am new to OSMAND, just installed last night, so I am sure I am missing something obvious, but I cannot find the Track folder in order to load a GPX file to my SD card.

The How To explains that the gpx file should be saved in /osmand/tracks but I cannot find that folder on my Google Nexus 4.

Can someone help? I am excited to use OSMAND for offline navigation on my bicycle by load a gpx file.

Thanks....

I am still not able to find the osmand folder so I tried to create a folder named osmand but the system will not let me create a folder by that name.
I do not get an error, the folder name just reverts back to New Folder.
I can change the folder name to any other windows compliant name, but not osmand.
Seems like that means the folder is actually there but hidden some how.
I checked the folder properties and it is set to show hidden files and folders.
Not sure what the problem could be.

What am I missing here?

Found it!

Did an internet search and turns out this is a common problem, not related to osmand.

The only suggestions I found was to reboot the phone and pc. I did not expect it work since I had already rebooted both several times over the past few days.

But it finally worked, rebooted and now I can see the folder.

Hope this information helps someone.

You should add the tracks folder to the existing Osmand folder on your phone's SD card. Other sub-folders already provided are POI, rendering, sounds, tiles, and voice as well as all your map downloads.
