If I have a track loaded, whose start and end points are not my current location, is it possible to somehow navigate to the nearest track point and continue navigating the track from this point?

Right now, what I'm doing is adding a waypoint onto the existing track and then navigating to it.

I've run into this issue a few times now and I'm hoping there's an easy fix. Thanks in advance.

If I understand what you're trying to do, I think setting a waypoint is the only way to force it to route you as you want.

Something has changed.
When you load a route and press directions to let Osmand calculate a route (for car, bike or walking), you could/can click the car/bike/hike icon, that determines your navigation mode, in the bottom right of the screen. In the popup you can select a number of options. One of them was to use "all points or start from the closest one" or something like that. I can't remember exactly and the option is no longer there.

I'm relatively new to OsmAnd, but I do not recall seeing that. That is exactly what I want.

I now remember.
The phrase was:  "Use all points in track?". And if not it took the closest by.
