Highway Shields Missing

I just upgraded to 2.3.3 on Android and as I pan around the map I see no major highway (Interstate) shields on the roads. I'm in the US, is there something in the settings that needs to be turned on? Previous version showed generic highway shields, but this new version is supposed to show them in the style of the nation in which they appear. I see no shields.

Hi,

I just upgraded to OsmAnd+ 2.3.3 and at first I didn't see the shields either. I had to update my maps first, and then the shields were shown.

Nick, are you using Standard Maps or Roads Only Maps? I was using a mixture for states along the East Coast. I updated them all, but did not see Interstate shields anywhere (including in states with Standard Maps). But when I deleted the states with Roads Only maps and downloaded the Standard Maps for those states, the Interstate shields began to appear (in all states). Something seems inconsistent. I'm going to delete all my maps and make them all Roads Only and see what that does.

Unfortunately it is a known issue today for road only maps. It is a regression and we are working to fix it. Though on normal maps the proper shields should be displayed today.

Thank you for the clarification regarding it being a known issue.

One follow-up question: I had updated the maps for 10 states I had on my device, and only one state was Roads Only, nine others Standard. They were all the most current. But until I deleted the one Roads Only map, I could not see any Interstate Shields even in states with Standard Maps.

Is that due to some interplay with the existing known issue?

Anyway, I have all Standard Maps for now and will await the next version.
