Hello,

If i use them all , will i have 3 maps together ?

Hi!

What does it mean, no success?
Basically, you have one source as base map. Than, you can add overlay on top of it,as another tile source, and you have to specify the transparency. Same for underlay map, however, than you specify the transparency of the base map.

Best regards,
Pavol

so the maximum maps number i can see is... is 2 ?

And the underlay map is the base map ?

Hi!

No, it should be 3. You have overlay, base, underlay. You can set transparency to overlay and base map. Question of course is.

Pavol

So the sqlitedb map is not eligible for transparency ,

Only online maps and offline vector map ?

Hi!

sqlitedb map is map source as any other, should be no problem with it.
I think the only restriction is that vector map can be only base map.

Pavol

Is there anyone reading the wiki, or should we take it off-line?

Saves you a lot of work ;-)
People usually don't Google, don't search wiki and don't look in Google groups. Osmand group contains a lot of searchable information too. But often they don't know the links, and asking someone is much easier. So then you are thee one that does the hard work, Pavol ;-)
You are too good for this world. Where should Osmand be without you ;-)

Hi All,
I think it should first item in FAQ :
- I have a question ...
- Read 'How To..', search in Google Groups and in Google and only after that post your question at Google Groups.

"Usually you have 1 map, but you can make it transparent to show an
"underlay" map, and you can put a transparent overlay map above. So
the normal map is the middle map then. Samples of underlay maps are
some "base maps" in the layer list, as openfietskaart base map. The
normal map can also be a vector map. And on top of that you can show
an overlay map with some transparency (overlay transparency). On top
of the three maps you can always show the additional layers."

This is a quote from the wiki .

There is nothing conclusive here about offline vector map as the only
base map for transparency .

Still.... , i like this software very much .

I managed to put 3 maps with no vector map.

Hi Pavol,

I don't think so, you do a lot of hard labour, anyone can see that. Fishing for compliments ;-) ?
Maybe its time for me to get up to speed with you and update the wiki..
