How to identify regions of countries

The map of several countries is partitioned into regions.

How can one identify regions one needs? Is it possible to display the boundaries of each region?

Regions and country borders are displayed on the map. You can tap on a region or city name to be prompted to download the corresponding map, especially if the country's map is divided into regions. If you want to plan a route, you can select a starting point and a destination. The navigation interface will then display a dialog box with a list of the regional maps that need to be downloaded for the route.
