[OSMAND] How to create new MapLayer for showing shape in specific zone ?

Hi,

I'm working with OSMAND under Android.

In my android application, i'm trying to figure out how to do display any a filled polygon with specific coordinates in the map.

Anyone know how to draw a simple polygon with a array of coordinates data (ex. : https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/polygon-simple ) ?

I fear you have to dive into sourcecode of Osmand when you want to have it as a basic map display framework.

Is there any chance that you could switch to http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mapsforge ?

Some users say that this project has a better documentation about available features.

You can also search the mapsforge googlegroup mailinglist for this feature.
