Hi,
I'm using Osmand+ and it works really great !

But one thing could make it much better for me:
Normally I'm using just the voice navigation together with my mp3 player and the handy in my back for my bike rides. So I can't see the display.
If a navi sound is played it actual has the same volume level as my mp3 player and Osmand & mp3 sound is played in parallel.
So in the end, I often can't understand what Osmand is telling me.

Is it possible to:
- Increase the Osmand sound volumen independend from other handy sound volumes?
- or is it possible to mute the mp3 player when a Osmand sound is played?

Thanks for the help!

Muting other sounds is what other navigation do.

+1.

Go to Settings -> General Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Voice guidance output. Check how many options are available there. Default should be media/music audio. Try changing to voice call audio if available. It should give you louder output (even though it is still mixed with audio).

Just for fun I tried setting output to 'notification audio'. It mutes the music sound permanently (instead of mute -> navigation prompt -> unmute). I had to change back to music output again to unmute media volume.

Last version osmand+ running, navigation volume can not be set seperately in the app (for example only 80% of system volume), when I'm on "media".
I haven't found it in the settings. Many other navigation apps do have this feature to seperately set the navigation speech volume instead of always the same volume level as the media output of the device.
This would be a great feature request, if it is not implemented yet (and I haven't found it yet).
