Set destination to point A from location.
Menu--->Directions
Calculated route.
Set way point C.
Menu-->Dismiss Route
Menu-->Directions
Route calculated but purple route indicator does not include waypoint C.
Is there a setting I missing? What are the required settings to accomplish having a new waypoint included in a recalculated route?
Menu-->where am I?
Menu-->Favorites-->Set as destination
Long press on a different location on map then touch bubble-->Add as waypoint
Menu-->Directions
Osmand always ignores the new waypoint. Note that I have tried selecting directions as soon as I set destination, tried turning navigation off and on, and selecting a waypoint from favorites instead of a long press on the map. I've also tried changing the order of the waypoints.
I tried your suggested steps using the Directions To and Directions From: same problem. I can't set waypoints and get Osmand to calculate a route.
I figure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.
Yes me too. I was it would be improved in 2.x but after some hours of experimentation I reverted to Locus. THe play store readme implies (I think) being able to add/ drag/ delete waypoints but I am lost how to do it. I read through all the technical help topics.

@fredf - let us know if/ when you write any examples, thanks.
@jack - how about dragging a waypoint to a new location? I thought I'd read it was possible, but can't find any instructions how to do it.
