I have OSMAND set to Map Orientation: Don't rotate (north is up). Sometimes when scrolling on the map the orientation will change and I have to press the compass to set it back. Is it possible to lock the orientation so that it always stays set to North?

It would be good if "Do not rotate" actually meant the display would not rotate.

I think there is some confusion between map rotation and screen orientation. The screen orientation can be locked by the device's auto rotation settings. Maybe that would be the best solution until OsmAnd has the capability to rotate as the orientation changes.

Is there still no possibility? I have the same problem. If I zoom with to fingers I unintendedly rotate. Sometimes (when the whole screen is refreshed after zoom) I don't even notice it directly :(

This setting don't prevent two-finger screen-rotation
