When cycling, one can sometimes accidentally overshoot a turn-off.
In these cases, OsmAnd announces "Route recalculated", but the re-calculated route is often un-necessarily long.
The attached pics illustrate a case. The re-calculated route goes way ahead, does a loop (involving a busy major road) and directs back to the missed side-road.  It added "only" half a mile each way in this instance, but re-calculated routes are sometimes much more.
Please could OsmAnd offer the option to do a u-turn?  It could be announced "You missed your turn-off - You may wish to do a u-Turn".
Is there any reason why this could not be offered?
Thanks

I would be happy to just have "Too far from route!" repeatedly, as in Oruxmaps, and have route recalculation turned off when following a GPX route.

I had the same issue and my route was extended by 3 km because I missed a turn. U-turn could be a good option, but at least I would like to disable Automatic re-routing. I didn't find any option for that. Does someone know if this is possible?

Same issue but worse, the app recalculates the quickest route to your destination based on your preferences even if you you want to stay on the same specified route. This is especially annoying when you are on a loop and it just redirects back to where you started in the shortest way possible. The app could do with a feature to disable route recalculation and just say "you are moving away from your route" and "you are moving back towards your route".
