Using Osmand on a laptop

Silly question, I use Osmand on my phone for recording gpx tracks.  Is there a way to use the same software on my Windows laptop for the same purpose?

Hmm,but emulators do not emulate Gps receiver module. I am not sure if they can work with external blue tooth Gps.

It should be possible to pass the laptop's GPS data to the emulator by using the mock location functionality. I know it was possible to set the location of the emulator in Eclipse.

Also try virtualbox.org and an image from http://www.android-x86.org

or use Chrome browser and the "arc-welder" plugin / extension ... thus you can run apk files inside chrome browser, works fine with Osmand.

But I have no clue about GPS signal available there.

Be aware you need CPU with HW virtualization support, but all recent laptops do have one.
My desktop from 2008 with Core2Duo E4700 does not, unfortunately.
