Different Style Maps??

Yesterday I  was loading some new state maps on my wife's android phone for our up coming cycling tour. I noticed that the maps on her device look different than the one's on mine. Her's show ,what I  would call, wetlands right  around our home along with the roads.Mine just shows the roads.

Thoughts?

My thought is that you did not really investigate before asking a
question nobody can answer. You didn't say that you verified that the
OsmAnd versions were the same, the map versions, the map style, all the
options to show extra things and hide things. You didn't say what's in
the OSM database, both shown on the default render and the actual data.

How can you expect someone to help you?

Map appearance can depend on the profile — in Walking profiles, for example, footways are more prominent. It can also depend on the Map style, both of which you can change in Menu – Configure Map – Map style. You'll also find a Details menu in Configure Map that lets you enable additional details.
