Profile differences

I have OsmAnd 3.4.4 on a phone and a tablet, both android. The phone's OsmAnd does not have a Driving option under Gen. Settings > Default profile but does have Browse, Cycling, Walking, Boat and Aircraft. On the other hand the tablet has Browse, Driving, Cycling, Walking and Public Transportation. Why the difference and how can I add Driving to the phone?

When you press the button to begin planning a route, along the top are
the icons for the different types of routes (car, bicycle, walk, bus,
etc.). At the far right of all of the icons is a vertical three dots
control. Press that control and a pane opens that allows you to select
the various profiles that should be listed in the horizontal rows of
route profile icons.

I suspect you'll find the driving profile is set to off inside the pane
that opens from the three dots on the phone.
