Hello,
I've just purchased & installed the latest version of Osmand+ from the Google Play store.  Every time I zoom in on a map, I get a pop up prompting me to 'Download US California'.  Each time I allow it to download the 360MB map, it reports that it was downloaded successfully, and then the same thing happens all over again.  Something seems very broken somewhere.

I found the same problem was happening several months ago here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/osmand/wgeLzdEQS9c

Is this a known bug?

thanks

I'm still seeing this too, even with today's nightly. It
doesn't see sideloaded maps, or maps that were in place before I
uninstalled/reinstalled osmand; and even after I download Us New
Mexico through the app, as soon as I go back to the map screen after
downloading it prompts me to download it again, as well as nearly
every time I start the app and tap on the map.

Still not fixed for me, and no one has replied to the email that I
sent to the 'official' Osmand support address either. I'm rather
disappointed that support for a paid app is this poor. A 360MB
download isn't something trivial, and the way it prompts inside the
app makes it nearly impossible to avoid.

Try and delete the file named ind.cache, this will force osmand to reload the maps you have ind the osmand folder.

Deleting the ind.cache does not help .... :(

Didn't help me either. In fact, now its even worse. It now claims
that I have no maps installed, and I have to keep downloading
everything repeatedly. I'm incredibly frustrated that I paid money
for software which is fundamentally broken & useless.
