I've just bought a new android device and installed Osmand+ onto it. I want to export my old database of 'favourites' from the free version across to the paid version on the other device.

How can I do this please?

Just save the old favorite file to the osmand folder. If you are not using the latest osmand version you need also to import the favorite file once you are in the favorite, otherwise that's all you need to do.

Okay I have copied the favourites file from the Osmand directory on my old phone to the Osmand+ directory on my new device. Now what? Nothing is showing up in Osmand favourites which is now called 'My Places'.

Sorry I'm confused, what do you mean by this? I've just downloaded it from the Android store having just purchased it.

Just figured it out....

You actually have to go into your Android file manager app and click on the favourites.gpx file and then a window comes up asking you if you want to import it.

There is not import tool that you directly access in Osmand, this would have been more obvious ??

Thanks anyway
