Hi,   I just loaded Osmand, and have been reading how to use it.   It says I can choose a destination location from my Contacts folder.   So, I tried this, by choosing a contact that has an address stored, then clicking on the Google Map icon from that address, and then it comes up with a box to choose an Navigation App to move forward with.   However, only AT&T Navigator and Google Navigation are shown as choices to use.  Osmand is NOT shown; yet, it IS in my Apps list and I can click on it from Apps.    How do I add it to the list of Apps to choose from when selecting a location from my Contacts?
Thanks,
Jerry

On What version of Android are you?
On my old phone with 4.0 it worked and on my brand new phone with 4.2.2 it works as well.
I have both the free version and the plus version installed. Both versions  are choosable options.

Harry,
I'm running Android version 4.1.1 which is the latest release supported on AT&T One X phones.   I just had an online conversation with HTC customer support, and they said there was no manual way to add Osmand+ to the list of available apps when you tap the "Geo Locator" symbol from the Contacts address.   So, not sure where to go from here.    The exact same thing happened on my wife's AT&T HTC One X phone when I loaded the Osmand+ app.   So, it is something in the app that doesn't seem to be setting the right options within my phone to allow it to be shown as an option.   Not sure who to contact in this regard.

Sorry, not an answer, but the same question regarding whether this should work for older android versions?

I have Galaxy Mini - android v 2.3.5 (in general very happy with how OsmAnd works on this phone)
