Maps & Resources Question

Hey,

I am attempting to use one of our older phones just for Osmand on my touring bike. I keep my "good " phone in my handlebar bag. 

But when  go to Maps & Resources to look for available map the only thing g there is " Voice prompts(TTS,preferred)

Any  help would be great.

You left out

- What version of Android is your phone running?
- What version of OsmAnd? Released when?

and

Assuming you have old OsmAnd because you have ancient Android, what
happens when you install lineage to get reasonably modern android, and
update to OsmAnd to the current release?

Hello, Tom! Thank you for the feedback. Did you use the latest available OsmAnd version on this older phone? There was an issue with outdated certificates on Android 7, which should be fixed in the newer versions. If it doesn't help, please contact us at sup...@osmand.net

The problem  was that the VPN was turned  on and it was not available on that phone.

Switched it off and all the maps are loaded!
