OsmAnd Map Creator Installation

Hello there !

I'm trying to install OsmAnd Map Creator on my Mac. Every time I type  java -jar -Xms1G -Xmx6G OsmAndMapCreator.jar  in the terminal, an error occurs and states that net.osmand.swing.OsmExtractionUI  couldn't be found.

That's how it looks like :-)

Samuels-MacBook-Pro:~ Samuel$ cd /Users/Samuel/Downloads/OsmAndMapCreator-main 

Samuels-MacBook-Pro:OsmAndMapCreator-main Samuel$ java -jar -Xms1G -Xmx6G OsmAndMapCreator.jar

Fehler: Hauptklasse net.osmand.swing.OsmExtractionUI konnte nicht gefunden oder geladen werden

 It would be great if someone could help me :-)

Originally when you have extracted the zip archive of osmand's mapcreator, there is a file named OsmAndMapCreator.sh ... next to same files with .jar and .bat

Are you able to start that .sh file? maybe after marking executable bit in file properties?

Your issue is that you don't supply the dependent libraries (jars). As Stephan explains: check the command line in the shell file. There you can see what you need to specify.
