Hi! You can launch Navigation or tap on Free ride to close the menu.

How does one go about using Osmand on Android Auto?

You need to have OsmAnd+ or OsmAnd Pro.
The free version doesn't have this ability.

And if you have the + or pro version, it works automatically.
The only thing you might need to do is to add + or pro to the displayed apps in your Android Auto settings on your phone.

Just a quick note: if you're on Android, the only versions that work with Android Auto are OsmAnd+/Maps+; the Free version can use Android Auto to, provided you have activated a Pro subscription.

OsmAnd~ from F-Droid, hoewever, will NOT work with AA: actually it's AA's "fault", since it only recognizes the signatures from Play Store and the app from F-Droid is therefore unauthorized to run.

I remember that, long time ago, there was some kind of trick to make it run, involving changing the app signature, not sure if that would still work today.
