Hi! You can launch Navigation or tap on Free ride to close the menu.

How does one go about using Osmand on Android Auto?

You need to have OsmAnd+ or OsmAnd Pro.
The free version doesn't have this ability.

And if you have the + or pro version, it works automatically.
The only thing you might need to do is to add + or pro to the displayed apps in your Android Auto settings on your phone.
