Render to show motorway_junction ref and milestone ref?

I'm very confused with the render.xml file. It appears that at least I should be seeing the motorway_junction numbers on my maps, but I can't.

I'm also not seeing any reference to the highway=milestone information in the render.xml

I'm trying to get the highway exit numbers and milestone numbers to show on my map.

Can someone show some xml that would help me out?
