Hi everyone, is there any way to see TOTAL ASCENT on the app? I would like to see how much I go "up and down" as well as just the highest point i went to from the start of a hike.

If you create a route and press the Details button, you'll see the total ascent and descent. Similarly, if you are looking at a GPX you recorded in My Places / Tracks, pressing Altitude will show you the same.

Thank you for the info. For some reason I thought that was the highest point and not the total accumulation of the up and downs. thanks again.
