Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have encountered
trying to create an sqlitedb from files I downloaded in Map Creator
but which I did not convert into sqlitedb while the preloaded area was
showing on the Map Creator browser. I can find the files on my hard
drive but I can't make an sqlitedb from them.

I have searched the web and tried every possiblity I could think of
within the progarm but with no result.

I guess I see my problem as how do I get the sqlitedb conversion tool
to "see" the files I want to convert to sqlitedb?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi
I have had more or less the same issue.

This will help: download MOBAC.
Install MOBAC and then create a source for MOBAC. Look here how to do it :  http://mobac.sourceforge.net/MOBAC/README.HTM#FileBased
Follow here the manual at 'Custom atlas as map source / locally generated tiles'. The source will be you already downloaded tiles on your harddisc.

If everything done right, then in MOBAC you can select in the dropdown  'Map source' your own source.
After that, go to File->New Atlas and select 'OSMAND SQlite'.
In the map you can select you region (or whole map) and then press at 'Atlas selection' the button 'Add selection'.
Now you are ready to go by clicking the button 'Create Atlas'! (If you want you can check the Settings if they are suitable for you, I dont know what these all are.)

Hope this helps you otherwise ask.
