newest osmand doesn't find many towns anymore!!!

another point: opening this group on my smartphone there is no option to start a new thread or only just answering (pixel 4a, android 13). why that? same with you?

addition: in most cases of bigger towns much smaller ones appear on top of the list, e.g. münchen, stuttgart a.s.o.

but you will easily find towns which are not found by osmand 5.2.13 anymore: e.g. lahr, offenburg, weinheim, cottbus and so on and on ...

Hi!

I have tried 5.2.12 and 5.2.13 with the latest December maps and don't find any issues. Please try to update the maps; if it doesn't help, let us know.

thanks dimitry, obviously osmand has changed maps fundamentally without giving any notice of the need to update all maps. if that happens while travelling that could be a problem, really. osmand should give clear signs for such things. at least me I do not update maps unless I really need them, otherwise 10gb would be consumed every month. _ so, all fine now, and maybe better than before ;-)
