BUG: OsmAnd for Iphone MAJOR CRASH, Bricked after map purchase & downloading some french maps :-(

IPAD 2 64GB (IOS 8.3) available Memory 38.9GB
OsmAnd 1.0.23
----
The mishap:
Installed from AppStore, Downloaded World + Denmark (free) - Success!
Made a purchase of all maps of the world - Success!
Marked all maps from France to download, in one go - Success!
...
Waited for the download to finish - never happened, but finished 8-10 maps - can't recall exact number.
 .. suddenly the screen blacked out and showed a very nice photo of a balloon traveling over snowy mountains (attached as ), and then showed the home screen.
From now on starting the OsmAnd App does nothing other that showing the balloon picture (maybe some sort of splash screen) for about 12 secs. and then blacks the screen for 1 sec and returns to the home screen.
Double clicking the home button on the I-pad (showing running apps) shows the normal OsmAnd with the last viewed (Danish) map. Tapping this full screens the OsmAnd map for 1 sec before blanking out to the home screen.

In other words the App has crashed big time - and does not work. I-Pad has been re-booted without any change in behavior.

QUESTIONS:
1/ What shall I do to fix this problem (without loosing my AppStore purchase?)
2/ if I remove the OsmAnd App will I then loose my map purchase?
3/ Anyone else having seen something like this?

OK I un-installed the OsmAnd IPhone App and re-installed new version 1.0.222. Now the App is working again, but I lost my registration of my purchase of all maps of the World.
Please - what do I need to do to restore my purchase?

Do I need to contact Apple App Store, someone at OsmAnd or someone else?
Please advice..

OK guys,

I receive no answers from Anyone.
1/ Do I need to contact Apple App Store, someone at OsmAnd or someone else?

2/ Is this group also covering the iPhone/iPad version or only the Android version ??

Hello Leif,

Sorry for your trouble!  Although I am NOT anyone of the programmers, i will try to open a github issue with your problem.
My experience is that developers pay more attention to that area rather than this mailinglist.
(I am not aware of any special group/list/forum for the iOS app)

Hello Leif,

Please do not worry, you will not loose your purchase. You can restore it via recycle (refresh) icon at the top-right corner of Purchases window.
Even if you cannot restore - you may try to buy it again. Since you bought it once - you will get it for free next time.
