To days ago I made a 400km trip on my motorcycle. I imported a gpxfile (trk, rte, wpt). I choose 'Calculate route between points' to get roadbased navigating announcements in OsmAnd 3.4.0
OsmAnd performed very well during this trip. But there were a few u-turns.
One u-turn was caused by the minimal information in the gpx-file. This can be easily prevented by editing the source gx-file and re-import it.
The other u-turns were created during recalculation. Sometimes I have to leave the track for a traffic redirection (detour). Then OsmAnd tries to navigate to the track again. It choose a point on the track and calculates a route to this point. In four of the six detours I experienced on this trip OsmAnd created a u-turn on this point.
I would like to see a setting in OsmAnd to avoid u-turns escpecially during recalcululation. Will this be possible???
