manchmal treibt einen osmand zum wahnsinn. suche oder navigationsversuch > dortmund (deutsche großstadt mit ca. 600.000 einwohnern). zwar werden sofort dutzende dortmunder straßen in ganz deutschland angezeigt, aber die stadt kennt osmand nicht. oder ist das nur bei mir so? und wenn ja: warum?

sorry, die nrw-karte war deaktiviert. aber warum hat osmand es nicht über die aktivierte weltkarte gefunden?

The world map is just a "graphical representation" of the world.

Other maps contain, next to the graphical map data, also indexes with roads, routing, addresses (country level down to street level) and POIs.

So no cities in the world map.
