Is it possible to simulate the navigation with OSMand?

When routing with OSMand I frequently observe some unregularities that often likely comes from not correctly tagged or mapped ways. On the tour I don't have the time to make corrections, look into details or even take notes of mistakes.

Is there a possibility to somehow simulate the navigtion of a route (i.e. OSMand giving me the navigation commands once after another)? I think by simply looking at the simulation I would observe many irregularities.

Yes. I *think* you have to enable the development plugin, then tap the OsmAnd menu button and go to the Dashboard. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see the Simulate option.

here is the way :

1) click on the screen (long) on the point of start : then appear "navigation" and just upper :"actions" : click on. then "trip from" (I have "itinéraire depuis")

2) a new page is opening : choose "select the destination" ... "from the map"

3) the map is returning to screen

4) select now (as in 1°) ) the destination point

5) then "navigation"

6) the routing is computing... then you can simulate too

Thanks for the hints so far!

Under plugins I enabled OsmAnd Development plugin. Now once the navigation tab/window is open I can click on the Options (the gear symbol on the bottom right) and choose to simulate the navigation. Though, this does not seem to work very well. When choosing the calculated route it does was expected (although it would be nice to have a button to pause or jump to the next action), but when choosing the gpx-track it simply does nothing, but only shows my current position on the map.

I expected the simulation to be similar to the Garmin Oregon, GpsMap, Etrex devices.
At Garmin, the route is visualized, the directional arrows and speed are displayed. 
The cursor then follows the route. With OsmAnd, only the cursor that moves, but you can not see the route. 
This functionality is still missing, otherwise OsmAnd can already do more than the mentioned Garmin devices.

Calculate a route.

Press dashboard, simulate your position.

The map begins moving under your vehicle icon.

Click on the directions icon.

Press start.

Voice instructions are heard.

Simulated speed is displayed.

Traffic warnings are heard if enabled including exceeding speed limit warning.

Nearby POIs are announced along route if enabled.

If track up is enabled, map rotates to direction of travel.

Better than Garmin simulation, but a few more steps to set it up and make it work.
