Hi fellow Osmand'ers,

First let me thank you for a wonderful product. A pleasure to use.

I have my mobile phone (motorola g7 power) connected to my car stereo (alpine 73) and the navigation voice prompts are played through the stereo.
whenever there's a voice prompt, osmand starts talking and the car stereo switches over from what it's playing to osmand over bluetooth.
The problem is that the switchover to osmand takes about 1 second and I lose the first 1 second of osmand voice instructions.

Is it possible to configure osmand to wait x seconds before actually talking? This will give the stereo enough time to switch over to bluetooth and I won't miss any words.

Thanks.

Do you have "pause music" enabled?
Have you tried with and without it enabled?

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it tomorrow when driving.

BTW, for others who need to find this setting (and it's not obvious where it is):

Settings -> On top change profile to -> Driving
Under it you'll see -> Configure Profile
Navigation settings ->

OR :
Settings -> Directions -> Options ->
You'' see a Sound Voice prompts  ON/OFF.
Don't use this one, but lower down press and hold -> Navigation Settings.

FINALLY:
Press and hold -> Voice prompts.
Scroll down to -> Language and output -> Pause music.

This topic could also be useful to people who use Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids (as I do) to hear the Osmand voice prompts - So much clearer than acoustic from phone to ears, especially when cycling.  Beats the traffic and wind noise/.
Could also be relevant to Bluetooth headphone users..

I tried both options and still I have the one second of loss until osmand voice can be heard.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks.
