not really a bug...
I was wondering if there are other sources of STRM3 data usable by
osm2garmin that include contours further north, osm2garmin seems to use
http://dds.cr.usgs.gov/srtm/version2_1/SRTM3/
and that does not include some parts of Europe e.g. Iceland and Scandinavia
the current coverage can be seen here

when I am not mistaken
