overzooming the map

Hi! I'm posting this question in order to understand how osm-gps-map works.

I know osm-gps-map is used in the darktable project, and I need to understand if osm-gps-map can provide to darktable an overzoomed map. I know that openstreet map arrives at zoom level 19. Is it possible to get an overzoomed map, with the tiles corresponding to level 19 zoomed in, as it were a level 20-21-21-...?
