Forwarding to OSM_emergency also, as the flight plan image does not seem to fit within OSM_talk size limit.

World Bank, GFDRR, RIT, ImageCAT Remote Sensing Mission to Haiti - Status Report - 22 January 2010

Another excellent day of imaging for the RIT sensor system. The mission today covered over 150 sq. km with 15 cm resolution color, 82 cm thermal infrared, and 2 pt/m2 LiDAR.  Again, there was excellent coordination between the aircraft and air traffic control thanks to excellent support by AFSOUTH and controllers on the ground. Even over the PaP airport, the experience of the RIT pilots was excellent.

The figure below illustrates the coverage of today's mission shaded in red.  We plan to continue to work on the rest of the area as indicated in the figure tomorrow.  We anticipate that it take one more day to finish all of the PaP area.  This area is basically equivalent in area to the original Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C combined.  After completion of the PaP area, we will proceed to the Leogane area and collect as much as possible for the day.

Data from the Jan 21 collect is in Rochester now and is being processed for release soon.  Today's data is currently being uploaded from the mission base in Puerto Rico to a server at RIT for processing which has continued during the night.
