Loading tracks on android phone

When I try to load a track on an android phone,   instead of being able to browse file, I get 'select an action', with actions offered that are irrelevant

How can I change this behavour so that I can load traces on my phone by browsing for files?

Using Chrome.  It works as expected on a Chromebook.

Brouter is one of the few tools that allows me to deal with gpx traces and POIs in the same file and show distance markers...
