Curious routing, bug?

Observe the difference in routing between

and

http://brouter.de/brouter-web/#map=19/51.51984/7.90071/standard&lonlats=7.901868,51.519806;7.899913,51.519946

Why does the second routing end at the beginning of looped road but the first will route onto the looped road?

Could this be a bug with this type of mapping? Does anyone happen to know a similar case somewhere? It's difficult to search for such roads (circular road with one extending branch).

Yes, this is curious, but it is an already known problem. Please see this issue on BRouter git

The origin sample is obsolete but your sample could be the new reference for the issue.
