Hello,

I am a researcher at TU Braunschweig and I am very interested scientificially in the functions of BRouter. Recently, I wrote a Masters Thesis about Bike Routing with different preference profiles and used BRouter as a way to generate route data for my studies. It is the only tool that shows bike routes for different preferences in a realistic way. Without you, my Masters Thesis would not have been possible. Thank you very much!

Now I do regular research at TU Braunschweig in preparation for my dissertation. My first paper will be about the deviation of convenient bike routes in comparison to fast bike routes. Since I've had extremely good experience with BRouter, I'd like to continue using it for generating route data. Unfortunatly, this time I will need way more route data to get a reliable result. For the Masters Thesis, I had to download all routes maually (and used approximately 30 work hours for this). This time, I will need more Data at least by the factor of 5. So fetching them manually will be no option. Hence my question: Is it possible in BRouter to generate routes with different profiles and download them in a automized matter? I already tried to automate it with Windows Automater, but it does not seem to work since WA is not prepared for klicking into different spots of a map. Maybe there is a Way in BRouter to make this possible? This would be extremely helpful for me. Thank you very much!

Ideally install and run the server on your local machine:
or

Then you can call the server directly with a HTTP request like this:

Adopt the "profile" and "lonlats" parameters as needed in a script. URL docs:

Thank you very much! I will try it this way.
I will need to use individual profiles for this. When looking at the standalone files (nrenner version), I would assume that I need to generate a profile as brf-file in folder profiles2 and after that I can use the given name in the https-request to fetch the route with the individual profile. Does it work like that?
